Response form Fluke as of Nov 2013 ranges form we're not sure, maybe to firmware update and I'm not feeling too confident and pondering on whether or not I should send it in. I just really don't understand how software affects the processing of received interference and I'm concerned that it might apply a filter like Lo-Pass that could retard response or lower performance in some way. I have one with 88xxxxx, 1.01 software with REV 009 board. After being on hold for like 10 minutes, she says the department she consulted told her that it would need to be sent back-in to get checked out and have a firmware update. Robin says that only a few in million are affected. He transferred me to customer care and the lady Carolyn there had no idea what I was talking about. I called Fluke and spoke to Robin who says that it could be, but could not tell me for certain by the serial number. I am one of the potentially affected(so says Fluke) owner of 87V.
